On February 2nd, we had the pleasure of welcoming students, staff, faculty, and guests of all ages to come out and help dedicate our new clay target facility. This facility is in the back of our very own campus and with four stands so far and one more to build, we sure are excited for what’s to come for our Sporting Clay team!
Agriculture students and shooters on our team, Gavin Kramer, Will Cochlin, and Peyton Ogburn talked about how excited they are for this new facility. “Having this facility on campus gives us a better opportunity to practice and cut down on the amount of traveling we have to do for practice,” says Gavin.
We also had a special guest appearance from WU alum Wyatt Broxson who shared his testimony and what the clay shooting team meant to him.
We are so blessed for the donations we have received but it doesn’t stop there. There are some facility needs to continue growing this into the best facility around. These include: a pavilion, road improvement, and trap machines. (See below for more information)
