Warner University celebrated its 7th annual Apples of Gold Scholarship Benefit on November 30, 2023, nestled within the scenic Mountain Lake backdrop at George and Erica O’Neill’s home. The event not only brought joy and laughter through the comedic prowess of Adam Christing—American comedian, author, and motivational speaker—but also successfully raised over $90,000 dedicated to student scholarships at Warner. In the past seven years since the inception of Apples of Gold, Warner has raised a total of more than $500,000.
Guests were treated to an evening of amusement as Adam Christing seamlessly blended illusions and humor, leaving the audience in fits of laughter. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement during the silent and live auction, adding a touch of thrill to the charitable occasion. The night air was filled with worship music led by one of Warner’s alumni worship bands.
A heartfelt expression of gratitude goes out to the generous sponsors who made this event possible: Victor Smith Law Group, Mosaic, Florida Farm Bureau, Duke Energy, Chemical Containers, Mahalak/Lake Wales Jeep Dodge, Citizens Bank, Ewing, Blackwelder & Duce, Barn Light Electric, and Southern Homes. Their unwavering support contributed immensely to the success of the event.
