Warner University is excited to announce a transition for Janet Craigmiles. She will be transitioning from her previous position of Vice President of Operations into a new role, Executive Director of Strategic Projects and Initiatives.
Craigmiles has been serving Warner University faithfully since 2018. Her previous position saw her handling many “behind-the-scenes” operations here at the university. Her leadership led the Human Resources Department, the Security Department, the Facilities Department and more. In her new role, Craigmiles will be stepping back from some of that oversight and focusing her efforts on new initiatives for the university.
Craigmiles will work closely with Dr. Sutton, Warner University’s fourth president, on various projects and initiatives, such as strategic and institutional planning, data tracking, institutional research, risk management, policy and procedure development, and facilities services.
“I am excited to continue serving Warner University in this new role,” Craigmiles stated, “and I look forward to working with President Sutton as he enacts his vision for the future of Warner University.”
Dr. Sutton had this to say about this transition: “Over the years, Jan has done a lot of thankless, behind-the-scenes hard work that no one will ever know about, and she has done it with grace and excellence. Additionally, she has been vigilant in helping to keep the university moving toward its explicitly Christian mission. In her new position, she will, among other duties, oversee special projects, be intricately involved in strategic planning and tracking of progress, assist with institutional research, and continue to develop and maintain university policies.”
Warner University thanks Janet Craigmiles for the work she has already done and looks forward to all that she will accomplish in this new role, through faith and faithfulness.
