This year, we celebrated our 2nd year of Royal Cup. There were many great students who interviewed but we had three come out as winners. Here’s what Abigail Anderson, winner of best essay had to say about her scholarship:
How has receiving this scholarship helped you attend Warner?
“The scholarship is the only reason I am able to attend Warner. I am very grateful that I am able to study here and do what I came here for without the extra financial stress hovering over me.”
What did it mean to you when you won Royal Cup?
“It definitely meant a lot to me. After a lot of prayer, I knew that Warner was where I needed to go, which is why it was the only college I applied to. It was at that point I began looking at how to pay for it, and the Royal Cup was a blessing that diminished one of the biggest worries I had. I want to make sure I use it well.”
What has been your favorite thing about Warner so far?
“My favorite part of being at Warner is the fact that I have multiple professors who actually take the time to push me. I have no doubt that I will leave this university feeling personally challenged to do my best. It is also such a comfort to have such a good group of friends to fellowship with the entire way.”
