Gregg Mucerino serves as the Director of Athletics at Warner University. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Miami.
“One of my favorite aspects of my time at Warner University has been the opportunity to connect with our student-athletes. I have truly enjoyed encouraging them, sharing God’s love with them, and helping them recognize the purpose and calling He has placed on their lives.” – Gregg Mucerino
Gregg brings more than two decades of experience in collegiate and high school athletics, with a proven track record of building successful programs, developing coaches, and creating opportunities for student-athletes to grow both on and off the field. Since beginning his career in collegiate athletics, he has served in leadership and coaching roles at institutions across the country, including The Citadel, the College of Charleston, Loyola University New Orleans, Colorado Christian University, and Dallas Christian College.
Before joining the Royal family, Gregg served as Director of Athletics at Dallas Christian College from 2020 to 2026, where he helped establish a Christ-centered athletic culture focused on recruiting mission-minded student-athletes, developing coaches, and strengthening athletic programs. During his tenure, he generated more than $350,000 in fundraising, hired more than ten coaches, led significant athletic facility improvements, and helped contribute to the largest fall enrollment in the college’s 70-year history. His leadership also helped position Dallas Christian College as a host institution for the NCCAA Softball World Series National Championship through 2027.
Prior to Dallas Christian, Gregg served as Head Baseball Coach at Colorado Christian University, where he transformed the program into one of its most successful teams to that point in its history. His accomplishments included earning 2018 NCCAA Central Region Coach of the Year honors, raising more than $200,000, and establishing new program records for conference series wins, winning percentage, and team ERA. Throughout his coaching career, he has also been recognized for developing student-athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels.
Gregg’s approach to athletics is rooted in the belief that sports provide a meaningful opportunity to develop character, strengthen faith, and prepare students for life beyond competition. As Director of Athletics at Warner University, he is excited to build upon the university’s athletic tradition while continuing to foster an environment where student-athletes are challenged to grow in their faith, pursue excellence, and discover their God-given potential.
“Gregg has proven himself in a very short period of time to be a highly capable leader. He manages to be laser focused on Warner’s Christian mission while also giving himself wholeheartedly to ensuring the quality and success of our athletic programs. He is thoughtful about and engaged with people, he is an encourager, and he leads with integrity.” – Dr. Sutton
Warner University is thankful for Gregg and the invaluable leadership he provides for our campus community.
