Get to Know Dr. Matt Swale

Matt Swale is an Assistant Professor of Bible and Church Ministry at Warner. He began working with Warner in the fall of 2022. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School, and a Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies and Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Matt enjoys reading detective novels in his free time. His favorite Bible passage is Jeremiah 9:23-24: “This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD.”
