Get to Know Chelsi Woodruff

Chelsea Woodruff is Warner’s Head Cross Country Coach. She has been working with Warner since April of 2024. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences with minors in Sports Science and Psychology from Florida State University. Chelsi was a runner in her collegiate years and currently holds a spot on Florida State University’s top ten all-time record list for steeplechase. She has received NCAA D1 All-Region Honors in Cross Country and won the Tracey Pepoon True Seminole Award. She ran professionally for ASICS GTC-ELITE, where she nearly qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials. She brings with her experience coaching cross country at Greenville High School in South Carolina, where she brought her team to the State Meet after the school had not qualified for twenty years.

Chelsi loves the outdoors, particularly visiting Colorado. She enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and surfing. She says that her favorite and best hobby is being a mom to her daughter, Georgia. Her favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.”
