Warner University accepts the principle that learning as a result of experience may be recognized for credit in place of regular courses that require attendance and exams. The Registrar’s Office manages a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program (ELP hyperlink). To receive credits, students who believe that some of their job or life experiences have given them university-level academic learning must successfully complete WU 2080 to learn about the PLA process and develop the necessary PLA skills.
Warner University awards credit for military training and other non-university-sponsored learning activities (for example, professional and technical training) according to the recommendations of the American Council of Education and PONSI as allowed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
