Warner University is pleased to announce that Dr. Craig Williford has been appointed as the interim president while the Board of Trustees conducts a nationwide search for the university’s fourth president.
Dr. Williford brings over 50 years of distinguished experience in both ministry and academic leadership. He has served as CEO and President of Multnomah University, Trinity International University, and Denver Seminary. His global experience as an education consultant and various pastoral roles across multiple churches have taken him to more than 72 countries, where he has engaged in humanitarian efforts and built collaborative partnerships. Dr. Williford earned his Ph.D. from Trinity International University, his M.A. from Denver Seminary, and his B.A. from Cedarville University. He and his wife, Carolyn, have been married for 51 years and are dedicated to mentoring others through The Williford Connection, a ministry focused on supporting and guiding church leaders. Carolyn, a published author of nine books, has co-authored three with Dr. Williford, who has also written one book.
The Willifords have two sons, Robb who passed away in 2010 and Jay who lives in Denver, Colorado with his family. They also have four grandchildren who they adore —Tucker, Tyler, Abby and Nate. They enjoy being accompanied on their adventures with their black lab, Frisco.
The Warner University community eagerly anticipates welcoming Dr. Williford and Carolyn and looks forward to the contributions they will bring during this interim period.
Welcome! And blessings on you as you lead in the interim!
