What You’ll do in the Honors Program

Maintaining an Excellent GPA

The Honors Program will require you to maintain a high academic standard in your classes. You must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA at the conclusion of each semester to remain in the Honors Program.

Completing Upper-Level Electives

As a way to broaden your academic horizons, you will be required to take several upper-level (junior/senior level) elective courses while you are in the Honors Program. This will include classes in your major and classes from different majors.

Honors Seminars and Colloquia

You will meet regularly with your peers in the Honors Program for seminars and colloquia. These events will vary, but may include guest lectures, faculty panels, theme-oriented discussions, or film viewing and discussion.
