Compete for a Full-Ride Scholarship to Warner University!

The Royal Cup Scholarship Showcase is an opportunity for the best and brightest seniors in the class of 2027 to compete for a full-ride scholarship to Warner University. The runner up for this event will also be awarded a full-tuition scholarship. Just for attending, every participant will walk away with a $16,000 scholarship for every year they attend Warner University for up to four years.

Academic Qualifications

Royal Cup participants must have an acceptance decision (Fall 2027 application will open August 2026) for the Fall 2027 semester AND meet one of the following academic qualifications:

• 3.5 Cumulative GPA (unweighted)

• 23+ ACT Score or 1130+ SAT Score

• Top 15% of Graduating Class

What To Expect

During this event, participants will engage in interviews with faculty members and be asked to write a 500-word essay (prompt provided day of).

Parents will have an opportunity to meet with the President and engage with a panel of campus leaders to discuss topics like financial aid, campus community, spiritual life, and all things Warner University.

How To Register

In order to be a part of this event, you must be a graduating senior in the Class of 2027 intending to start in the Fall 2027 semester. Participating students must register, apply, get accepted, and submit the following portfolio items by October 30, 2026:

• 2 Letters of Recommendation (not from a family member.)

• Resume

• One of the Following:

1,000 Word Essay About Yourself
25 Slide PowerPoint About Yourself
or a 2 – 4 Minute Video About Yourself

Day of Schedule

Saturday, November 7, 2026

Please plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m. The Welcome Reception will begin promptly at 9 a.m.

Students should come dressed in professional attire. Comfortable shoes are also encouraged!
Students will spend the day networking with fellow participants as well as Warner University faculty and staff members, engage in interviews with faculty members, compose and write a 500 word essay, and end the day with a relaxing lunch.
Parents will be dismissed at 10:15 a.m. after their panel discussion and be asked to return to campus to pick up their student at 1 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to register?

The Royal Cup is open to high-achieving high school seniors, graduating in 2027.
This event is not open to transfer students who have 24 credit hours or more and have completed at least one semester in college. Dual enrollment credit hours are not counted as transfer credit hours.

What criteria will be used to determine Royal Cup scholarship winners?

Scholarship winners will be selected based on the evaluation of portfolio items, interview answers and decorum, and of the 500 word essay written during the event.

Can family members attend the Royal Cup with participating students?

Parents are encouraged to be on campus with their students during the event to learn more about Warner University. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with the President and engage with a panel of campus leaders to discuss topics like financial aid, campus community, spiritual life, and all things Warner University.

Will students receive anything for participating?

All Royal Cup participants will be awarded scholarships to Warner University! Please see the three award levels below:

Every student who attends will be awarded a $16,000 scholarship for every year they choose to attend Warner University for up to four years.

The competition runner up, will be awarded a full-tuition scholarship for every year they choose to attend Warner University for up to four years.

The winner of Royal Cup will be awarded a full-ride scholarship for every year they choose to attend Warner University for up to four years.

Participants are also granted automatic acceptance into Warner’s Honors Program.

* All Royal Cup scholarships can only be applied to traditional, in-person programs, and will only be awarded for fall and spring semesters (summer courses not included).

When will Royal Cup scholarship winners be announced?

The Royal Cup winner will be scored and selected by a committee of judges and announced approximately 3 weeks after the event. The winner will first be announced on our Facebook page. We will then reach out to the runner up thereafter. All participants will receive written notification of their award along with a scholarship agreement.

What are the requirements for receiving Royal Cup scholarships?

In order to remain eligible for their Royal Cup scholarships each year, participants must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

How does the Royal Cup scholarship interact with other scholarships?

At Warner University, we do not stack institutional aid. This means that students can only be awarded one institutional scholarship. Participants will be awarded whichever institutional offer is highest. Students are still able for any and all external aid (federal, state, private, etc.).
