Warner University is proud to announce that 30 of its student-athletes have been recognized as 2025 Fall Academic All-Conference honorees by The Sun Conference. This prestigious distinction celebrates student-athletes who exemplify excellence in both academics and athletics.
To qualify for this recognition, recipients must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The achievement highlights the dedication, discipline, and balance required to succeed at a high level both in the classroom and on the field.
“We talk a lot about excellence with our students—or future graduates, as we more often refer to them—and these 30 future graduates understand that true excellence is never compartmentalized to only one or two areas,” said Dr. Gentry Sutton, President of Warner University. “They pursue greatness on the field, in the classroom, and as leaders on campus, and we are immensely proud of their achievements. Moreover, the fact that so many of them were recognized for their commitment to academics underscores the culture of our entire athletics program, which is so skillfully stewarded by Athletic Director Sean Hanrahan and our coaches.”
The 30 Royals recognized represent multiple athletic programs across campus, including football, volleyball, and men’s and women’s soccer. Each honoree’s achievement underscores Warner’s commitment to fostering excellence among its students.
Sports Information Director Kennedy Burks added, “Being academically challenged is at the core of Warner’s mission, and these student-athletes have met that challenge head-on. Their success in earning All-Conference Academic honors is a testament to their perseverance, faith, and commitment to excellence—both in their studies and in athletics.”
Warner University consistently ranks among the top Sun Conference institutions in academic achievement. The University’s ongoing focus on being a school that is academically challenging, biblically faithful, and culturally courageous continues to prepare student-athletes for leadership both on and off the field.
