Scarlett Jackson assumes the role of Warner University’s new Assistant Vice President of Admissions, following her remarkable achievement of ushering in the record-breaking class of 2023 for traditional enrollment. In her elevated position, she will provide leadership for the admissions department, overseeing both traditional and online undergraduate admissions, as well as online graduate admissions.
A proud 5th generation Floridian from Frostproof, Florida, Jackson’s roots in the Sunshine State run deep. Raised on the family-managed Crooked Lake Ranch, immersed in a legacy of purebred cattle operations, she embodies a profound connection to Florida’s agricultural heritage. As a Warner University alumna, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, earned while serving within the educational trenches of Frostproof Elementary and Frostproof High School.
Jackson’s professional journey at Warner University began as the Director of Agricultural Development, where her passion for nurturing growth and opportunity flourished. Instrumental in expanding the Ag Studies program into the institution’s third-largest program, she spearheaded the establishment of the Ed and Myrtle Lou Swindle Ag Complex and empowered students to thrive in the agricultural arena.
Following a brief tenure as the Executive Director of the Florida FFA Foundation, where she championed FFA members statewide through her tireless advocacy and fundraising efforts, Jackson’s heart led her back to her alma mater, as the Director of Admissions.
Jackson said, “I feel honored to work at my alma mater; a place that is home to me. I have been able to see the campus grow in my 6+ years including new programs, teams, buildings and people. My hope is that I can bring support, love, and a great experience to incoming families as they transition into the new world of college. My favorite part is watching those incoming babies become ambassadors then employees.”
“Scarlett Jackson’s tenure as Director of Admissions at Warner University has been outstanding. Under her guidance, the admissions department has experienced unprecedented growth, consistently achieving record-breaking numbers in applications, campus visits, and enrolled students year after year,” stated Andrea Thies, Vice President for Advancement and Admissions at Warner University. “Scarlett’s passion for Christian higher education and her unwavering commitment to Warner University shines through in all aspects of her work. Scarlett’s impact extends far beyond the admissions office, touching the lives of students, staff, and leaders alike. Warner University is undoubtedly fortunate to have such a dedicated individual at the helm of its admissions team.”
