Get to Know Justin Sharpless
Justin Sharpless serves Warner as an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Studies and the Chair of the Agricultural Studies department. He began working at Warner in January of 2015. He has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Communication and a Master of Agricultural Business from the University of Florida. He also has a Master of Science in Agricultural Education and Leadership from the University of Missouri. In 2022 he was elected as a Polk County School Board member. He has won the 2021 Alpha Gamma Rho Grand President Award and the 2020 National FFA Alumni and Supporters Outstanding Achievement Award.
Justin’s grandfather was a student in Warner’s first graduating class in 1972. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
