Get to Know John Merritt
John Merritt is Warner University’s Head Esports Coach. He has been serving Warner since March of 2024. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership and Apologetics from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. John has been featured on NewsOn6 and Christianity Today. He is a partnered Twitch streamer and has been sponsored by many notable brands. Warner’s Esports program is the fourth program John has been a part of building.
John is passionate about digital evangelism and gaming as a ministry. His favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:20-21: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
