Here are Five Reasons Why High-Achieving Academic Students Choose Warner University
The deadline to register for Royal Cup is now just over one month away, and if you have been following along at all, you know that Royal Cup targets high-achieving academic students. The event is designed to only allow attendees of a certain GPA, test score, or class rank. But one very natural question that could use answering in regard to those high-achieving academic students is: why would those students choose Warner University? Well, we’re glad you asked.
- Our mission. In case you haven’t heard, Warner has a new motto: Warner University strives to be academically challenging, biblically faithful, and culturally courageous. The agenda is to expand of the kingdom of God through cultivating these three traits. If you can get behind our mission, you’ll love your experience at Warner University.
- Our Programs. Closed-book quiz: how many different majors will Warner University offer in the 2026-2027 school year? If you’re guess was 37, you are correct. We specialize in Agriculture, Business, Biology, Exercise Science, and Education. Some of our faster growing programs include Psychology, Communication, and Criminal Justice. Do you want to make your focus entrepreneurship? We can help you. Do you want to make your focus medicine? We can help you. Has the Lord called you into ministry? We can help you, too!
- Our Honors Program. Warner University offers a prestigious Honors Program. If you meet certain criteria, you are eligible to join the Honors Program in which you will broaden your academic horizon through upper-level electives and receive exclusive invitations to seminars and colloquia. Additionally, the Honors Program comes with specific scholarship and housing benefits.
- Our Faculty. All of our courses are taught by professors with graduate degrees, many of which hold a terminal degree in their field; there are no TA’s at Warner. Warner’s faculty consists of professionals with real-world experience in their fields. They are experts in what they teach because many of them worked (or still work) in those fields.
- Intentional Community. The student-to-professor ratio at Warner is about 14:1. Meaning, we have a very personal community. The average class size is in the 14-18 range. The largest classes are typically no bigger than about 30. Do you know what that means? Yes, it means you can’t “hide” in class, but it also means your professors are accessible. Each faculty member has office hours that are dedicated to students asking questions, or just dropping by to talk. Do you want to get really good in your field of study? Spend a lot of time around the experts! At Warner, that is very possible to do.
The reality about your college education is that you’re going to get out of it what you put into it. If you show up to class, turn in assignments (without using AI… this should go without saying), spend time picking your professors’ brains, and aggressively pursue job opportunities in your field as your graduation approaches, you will fit right in as a high-achieving academic student who is choosing Warner University to call home.
