WU Alumna Abby Crawford Selected for the Young Farmers & Ranchers Leadership Group

Warner University sends our congratulations to alumna Abby Crawford for her selection for the Young Farmers & Ranchers Leadership Group!

The Young Farmers & Ranchers Leadership Program is a two-year program operated by the Florida Farm Bureau for selected individuals ages 18-35 working in the agriculture industry. The program provides members with leadership opportunities, service project possibilities, and a strong network of like-minded agriculturists. Abby was one of two individuals selected for the leadership program from a pool of applicants across Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sumter counties.

Jeb Smith, president of the Florida Farm Bureau, had this to say about Abby’s accomplishment: “Ms. Abby Crawford has been selected to participate in the Florida Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Farmer and Rancher Leadership Class 11. This two-year program is designed to provide class members with the opportunity to hone their leadership skills, experience agricultural advocacy firsthand, visit different farming and ranching operations around the state, network with likeminded folks, and learn the function and operation of Florida Farm Bureau. Ms. Crawford’s application and interview proved that her love of and devotion to faith, family, and farming would make her an outstanding classmate, member, and advocate for this essential industry.”

Abby graduated from Warner in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Agriculture Studies. She has been on staff at Warner since 2019 and currently serves as the Coordinator of Agriculture Programming and Advancement. We are so proud of Abby for being selected for this prestigious program!
