On Thursday, April 16, 2015, The Adult & Graduate Studies Department of Warner University had the privilege of inducting its first class into the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society.  With approximately 40 individuals in attendance, comprised of administration, faculty, staff and students, the inductees were honored for their outstanding academic achievement.

In order to receive an invitation to join Alpha Sigma Lambda, students must have completed a minimum of 24 graded semester credit hours with the Chapter institution, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and be listed in the upper 20% of the class.

With over 300 chapters, Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society is ever growing across the United States.  For the non-traditional student, the Society stands for an inspiration for continuing scholastic growth, and is a builder of pride through recognition.  For the Chapter institution, the Society serves as a vehicle for imparting appreciation for the adult and non-traditional students’ academic achievements and contributions.  The Society has also been found to aid immensely in the recruitment and retention of adult and non-traditional students.DSC_0787_picmonkeyed
