On September 13, 2013, students enrolled in “Introduction to Social Work” participated in an event sponsored by To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) for National Suicide Prevention Week. According to the TWLOHA website, “suicide is the leading cause of death among people ages 15-49.” In an activity by social work major and TWLOHA volunteer, Tori Collier, students completed the following statement, “I cannot be replaced because…” Students are seen holding their messages representing the intrinsic value and worth they possess as human beings and children of God.
