Get to Know Payton Chitwood
Payton Chitwood serves Warner as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. He was been working with Warner since March of 2017. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Wellness from Trinity International University and holds a diploma and several licenses from the NSCAA. He has earned many awards, including the SUN Conference Coach of the Year and NCCAA Regional Coach of the Year, which he earned twice.
Payton has performed stand-up comedy once. In his free time he loves to spend time playing with his kids. His favorite Bible passage is is Joshua 1:8-9: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
